MVP BOWL ... CONFIRMATION OF WHO IS ATTENDING - 25th October 2005
SFFA Competition Director, Andrew Chapman has contacted all the SFFA Clubs and asks that they
confirm as soon as possible whether or not the members of their Club listed HERE will still be able to
take part on Saturday 12th November.

MVP BOWL VENUE ANNOUNCED ... INCHYRA PARK, GRANGEMOUTH - 25th October 2005
Inchyra Park, Grangemouth will be the venue for SFFA MVP Bowl 2005.
It will be starting at 12 Noon so everyone needs to be there at least half an hour before for registration.

JONATHAN AND CHARLIE TO COACH MVP BOWL TEAMS - 25th October 2005
As 2005 Coaches of the Year ... Jonathan Ewing will coach the SFFA North/East Cadet Conference team
and Charlie Ewing will have the same honour ... but at Junior level.

TEAM SCOTLAND YOUTH TRIALS - 23rd October 2005
This Sunday, Team Scotland will be holding open trials for youths aged 16-19 for this years squad.
Trials will take place at Greenfaulds High School, Cumbernauld from 10am until 4pm.

NEW WEB PORTAL FOR GRIDIRON - 22nd October 2005
There is a new web portal for the Scottish Gridiron Community.
The website provides forums, articles, news, an events calendar and much more.
It is designed to bring together all the football disciplines under one roof.
Each team in Scotland (Flag, Youth Kitted, Seniors, College etc) will be able to submit news,
add your events to the calendar, and your website link.
Each team should nominate a liaison ... who will be able to submit their news articles to the Front Page.
Each Club can even have their own team Discussion Forum.

BRONCO YOUTHS ARE SCOTLANDS' 2005 LEAGUE CHAMPIONS - 8th October 2005
Congratulations to Coach Adam Donaldson and his Youths for this tremendous SFFA achievement.
Coach Jonathan Ewing and his Cadets reached the SFFA Final and finished Runners-Up.
Lastly Coach Charlie Ewing and his Juniors just missed out on a 3rd Place as they lost in Overtime.
In addition to these achievements ...
the Cadets and Youths received their 2005 SFFA North/East Conference Trophies.
Also congratulations to our Bronco Coaches ...
Jonathan Ewing, Charlie Ewing and Jimmy Thomson for their 2005 Coach of the Year Awards.
Overall a very good day for the Broncos Organisation !

NINE BRONCOS INVITED TO TAKE PART IN MVP BOWL NEXT MONTH
The following Broncos have been selected to take part in the MVP Bowl for the North/East Conference ...
Cadets - Callum Woods, Daniel Ward and Scott McKenzie.
Juniors - Josh Keir, Ryan Harkins and Kevin Simpson.
Youths - Steven Kane, Alan Martin and Steven Giannandrea.
The MVP Bowl takes place on Saturday 12th November.

SFFA FINALS DAY - 8th October 2005
The SFFA Finals Day was played this Saturday at Forthbank, Stirling.
Registration was from 9:30am.
Coaches' and Officials' Meeting at 10am.
First matches kicked-off around 10:15am.
The following SFFA Teams made it to the Event ...
Cadets ... Broncos, Inverness Rockets, Glasgow Siberian Tigers and Glasgow Bengal Tigers.
Juniors ... Broncos, Inverness Rockets, Clyde Valley Predators and Glasgow Tigers.
Youths ... Broncos, Inverness Rockets, Clyde Valley Predators and Glasgow Hornets.

PLAYERS, COACHES AND OFFICIALS GEAR UP FOR THE SFFA MVP BOWL
On Saturday, 12th November the SFFA MVP Bowl is scheduled to be played.
More information on who has been picked will appear as soon as the list has been announced.

HEARTACHE FOR FRASER ON EVE OF FINALS DAY - 7th October 2005
Cadet player, Fraser Thomson had the misfortune to break his foot whilst playing basketball
the day before the SFFA Scottish Finals.
We realise Fraser will be feeling very disappointed ... and sore.
The Broncos will temporarily miss his never-say-die qualities ...
the Cadet Squad and everybody associated with the Club hope Fraser makes a quick recovery and
returns to us and the SDS Programme real soon.

BAFCA LEVEL 1 COACHING COURSE - 2nd October 2005
BAFCA ran a course in Glasgow on Sunday.
Registration was from 9:30am.
Clinic started at 10am and finished around 4pm.
Cost ... £25 to BAFCA members, non-members must join at £35
(minus £20 BAFA Fee if already paid - bring your Registration Number).
The Seminar wass open to existing Coaches and Players wishing to get into coaching.

2005 CHANNEL FIVE TROPHY UP FOR GRABS
On Saturday 19th November, UK teams will travel to Norman Green Sports Centre, Solihull to
take part in this Annual Flag Football Tournament for 11-15 year olds.
Last year the Clyde Valley Predators reached the Final but lost to the Sussex Thunder from Brighton.
Highlights of the Event are normally shown during one of their regular season shows ...
allowing teams to promote their Football Organisation.

SFFA CONFIRM TWO NEW EVENTS FOR 2005/2006
The SFFA MVP Bowl 2005 will take place on Saturday 12th November 2005 ...
the weekend prior to Thanksgiving Day, at Forthbank, Stirling.
The SFFA hope that everyone will keep this date free in their diaries.
Next year, on Sunday 5th February 2006, Super Bowl XL will be complimented with the
introduction of the SFFA Super Bowl XL Charity Fun Day.
The SFFA are arranging this right now and will have more details in the near future.

BRONCOS AGREE PROVISIONAL DATE FOR OUR AGM PARTY NIGHT
On Saturday, the 26th November the Broncos plan to hold their AGM Party Night.
Venue ... Dalgrain Hall, Old Town, Grangemouth.
It would be nice if members and their family / friends could come along and support this Event.
As per usual ... we hope to hold a Raffle to raise much needed funds for YOUR Club.
Please put the date in your diary and let family and friends know early so they can do the same.

NFLE TESTING FOR BAFL PLAYERS - 9th October 2005
On Sunday, certain special BAFL Players will have an opportunity to impress
NFL Europe representatives at their Crystal Palace 'Testing Day'.
Players will take part in drills designed to gauge their agility, speed, explosive power and strength.

NEW NFL ATTENDANCE RECORD ACHIEVED IN ... MEXICO - 2nd October 2005
The first NFL Regular-Season game outside the United States was a phenomenal fiesta for
the 103,467 fans (new record).
Arizona Cardinals beat the San Francisco 49ers ... 31-14.
This Mexican fixture attracted 68,398 more fans than they drew for last season's meeting
at Sun Devil Stadium.
The crowd topped the previous NFL record for a Regular-Season game ...
when 102,368 fans saw the Los Angeles Rams play the 49ers at the L.A. Coliseum (10th November 1957).
The UK is one of the next possible targets in 2006 !
