BRONCOS AGM / END OF YEAR BASH - 29th November 2003
On Saturday Night at Dalgrain Hall, Grangemouth we held our AGM ...
and then indulged ourselves in our favourite pastime ... eating, drinking and having fun.
Raffle Prizes were in abundance and many walked away with an armful of goodies.
The Club would like to thank everyone who turned out to support the Event and just as importantly ...
those generous individuals who bought Raffle Tickets and those who supplied the Raffle Prizes.

AGM BRIEF SUMMARY - 29th November 2003
We have over £300 in Bank and no debts ... future AGMs will be held in November or December ... there has been a structural change to Club Officials and new Club Appointments ... Club Colours removed from Club Constitution and placed in Club Rules instead ... Rule Addition for Hall of Fame Inductee Process ... another pat on the back for all our Club Achievements this year ... a need for everybody looking after our youngsters to complete Disclosure Scotland Forms ... and initial news on the Bronco FlameBowl 2004.

At the 2003 AGM we honoured our very first Hall of Fame Inductee ...
which was kindly sponsored by McDonald's Restaurant, Grangemouth.

LEADERS AWARD TRAINING COURSE @ GLASGOW - 29th November 2003
On Saturday, from 10am until 4pm at Jordanhill Campus ...
30 American Football fans will attend the first stage in the Coaches Education Programme produced by the British American Football Coaches Association and is ratified by sportscoach UK.
It is a day-long course featuring fun, games-based practical sessions and assessment stages and revolves around the game of NFL 5-on-5 Flag Football.

COACH CHARLIE EWING ... THE VOICE OF BBC RADIO SCOTLAND ! - 25th November 2003
On Tuesday, the BBC put out a LIVE radio broadcast from Grangemouth ...
as part of their celebrations to mark 25 Years of BBC Radio Scotland.
The Broncos were invited to take part in The Show ...
and a number of our Players and Coaches were interviewed @ Grangemouth Sports Stadium.

GOOD BEHAVIOUR IS ALWAYS REWARDED !
Points make prizes for pupils at St Mungo's High School.
An eight week continuous rolling scheme rewards pupils who have been well behaved at school.

BULLS CHANGE THEIR NAME - 2nd November 2003
From today, the Fife Side will now be officially known as the Kirkcaldy Bulls American Football Club.
This slight alteration is to reflect their continuous develop within the Sport of American Football in all aspects ... not just Flag.

BRONCO IN FREAK ACCIDENT
Senior QB, Paul Kelly is slowly recovering from a hand injury that resulted in emergency surgery.
The Club wishes him a speedy recovery ...
except possibly Back-Up QB, Thomas Farrer ... who could see it as an opportunity.

SDS TRAINING DAY - 1st November 2003
At Forthbank Stadium, Stirling ... the Scotland Development Squad got their last chance to train together before the Scotland v England Clash next Sunday.
Although numbers were down due to the Predators at the Channel Five Trophy ... things seemed to go okay.

TRYING TIME FOR NATIONALS - 12th / 17th November 2003
Successful athletes from the Glasgow and Oxford Testing Dates have now advanced to the National Player Combine ... which is being held in Frankfurt, Germany.
Scott Couper, Jeff Nicolson and Stuart Hare will be hoping to impress new Head Coach, Jack Bicknell and the rest of the NFLE Coaching Staff.
From there ... the Top 40 Prospects from Europe will be joined by the leading players from Japan and Mexico at the National Player Mini-Camp in Tampa, Florida.
Only the BEST 48 National Players will then be assigned to the 6 NFLE Rosters ... 8 Players per Club ...
just in time to begin preparations for their 2004 Season.

CLAYMORES FAN FORUM MEETING ... WHAT HAPPENED ? - 10th November 2003
Claymores GM, Steve Livingstone has announced plans for the upcoming 2004 NFL Europe League Campaign ... the Claymores' 10th Anniversary Season.
Steve elaborated on this at the Fan Forum Meeting, which the Claymores held at the Lecture Theatre, Hampden Park on Monday Night.
All thoughts and opinions were taken on-board.

CFL EAST DIVISION CHAMPIONSHIP ... TORONTO 26 @ MONTREAL 30 - 9th November 2003
Over 60,000 CFL fans watched the Alouettes progress to the Grey Cup with a narrow victory over the Argonauts @ Olympic Stadium.
Montreal QB, Calvillo secured the Alouettes' 13th trip all-time to the title game by racing to the end zone with just over 4 mins remaining, erasing a 26-23 deficit.
The Alouettes will now have a chance to defend their Grey Cup title for the third time in four seasons.
Claymore Kwame Cavil got 6 Receptions for 66 yards ( incl. a TD in the 3rd Qtr).
Cavil had a huge game as the Toronto-D played tough on Cahoon and Copeland ... 'If you double (team) them, you’ve got to mess with me,' said Cavil ...'I’m going to give you trouble, trouble, trouble.'
Another Claymore ... Luke Fritz also played his part for the Montreal Alouettes.

At Bellahouston Sports Centre, Glasgow @ 1pm the Battle of the TDC Teams produced a win for the newly formed Aberdeen side who become the first winners of the TouchdownClaymores.com Bowl 2003.
The Sabres made slight amends by winning the B-Team friendly 31-22.

PREDATORS WIN CHANNEL FIVE TROPHY - 1st November 2003
The UK Champions ... Carluke Predators ... made the long trip to Norman Green Stadium, Solihull to take part in the 2003 Channel Five Trophy.
The journey was worthwhile .. with the Scots lads being crowned Champions after beating the Eastbourne Cardinals in an exciting Final 20-19.
Highlights from the NFL Channel Five Trophy was shown at the top of Sunday's live NFL coverage featuring the Packers and the Vikings on the 2nd November.

This was the Tournament that the Broncos won last year to complete the Grand Slam ...
