LARGE NUMBER OF BRONCOS MAKE THE 2006 SDS SQUADS - 25th March 2006
Cadet, Junior and Youth players from SFFA Member Clubs all over Scotland gathered together at
Forthbank, Stirling on Saturday to try out for places on the Scotland Development Squads for 2006.
The following Broncos were selected ...
Cadets ... Fraser Thomson, Paul Menzies, Daniel Yuill, Callum Findlay and Kevin Woods.
Juniors ... Callum Woods, Josh Keir, Scott Halbert, Kevin Simpson, Martyn Paterson and Daniel Ward.
Youths ... Ross Keir and David Ewing.
Our players will return to Forthbank for the next SDS Practice Session on 29th April.

SDS SET TRIAL DATE FOR CADETS, JUNIORS AND YOUTHS - 25th March 2006
Robbie Paulin (new SDS Head Coach) would like to invite SFFA Coaches to send what they consider to be
their best players and who they think would be capable of playing and learning at national level to
the SDS trials. Coach Paulin would like to see every SFFA Club represented as it is a great development
opportunity for the sport.
If any SFFA Coaches are wishing to become involved Robbie would encourage them to get in touch with
him to discuss how they can become part of the SDS Squad.

BRONCO COACHES ARE AGAIN INVOLVED WITH SCOTLAND
Three Bronco Coaches continue their involvement in the SDS Squad for 2006.
Jonathan Ewing has been promoted to SDS Cadet Head Coach, Adam Donaldson has been selected for
the SDS Junior Defensive Coaching position whilst Jimmy Thomson continues his role as the SDS Trainer.

29th Apr - Practice ... 10:30am until 4pm at Forthbank, Stirling

21st Oct - Practice ... 10:30am until 4pm at Forthbank, Stirling
4th/5th Nov - International Match ... Scotland @ England

SENIOR SDS SET SATURDAY TRIAL DATE - 18th March 2006
Would all players interested in taking part please e-mail Coach Fletcher with their intentions.
The trials will start at 10am and will continue until 2pm.
The venue for the trials will most likely be at Airdrie's Leisure Complex and the new all weather facilities at
St. Margret's High School which is adjacent to the Leisure Complex.
There will be a charge of £5 that players must pay to try out.
If selected there will be a charge of £5 at each practice.
This will be the final opportunity for players to try out for the 2006 Scotland Squad.

LET THE GAMES BEGIN - 11th March 2006
The SFFA League 2006 will begin officially on 11th March running all through Spring and Summer ...
finishing on 17th September.
SFFA Finals Day will take place on 30th September.
Clubs were asked to notify the Competition Director of what squads they will be entering into the
SFFA League 2006 by 25th February.
Team Roster forms should have been received by Clubs and returned to the SFFA by early this month.
(having registered, or re-registered, all your players with the SFFA).
SFFA Clubs will then be issued with their 2006 SFFA League Info Pack.
To indicate their commitment to staying in the SFFA League 2006 for the full duration, clubs will be
required to submit bond cheques of £20 for each team entered along with their Team Rosters. These bond
cheques will be held by the Competition Director and will only be cashed if the team withdraws from
the league. If the team stays in the league for the duration their bond cheque will be destroyed.

ESPN TO OFFER MORE SPORT ON OUR UK TVs - 13th March 2006
ESPN Classic Sport Channel is launching this month as part of Sky's 'News and Events Mix'.
The 24-hour station will be available on Channel 442 and will air footage of sporting events
from years gone by, movies, interviews, profiles and documentaries.
