Latest News:

SCOTLAND CALL UP - Well Done to Coach Ewing.
Charlie has been asked to assist with the Scotland Under 16 team this season.

CLAYMORES VISIT GRANGEMOUTH - Many thanks to Scott Couper and Pernell Davis who made the boys first midweek training session on Wednesday 12th June very special. Everybody enjoyed themselves including a Photo Session conducted by The Falkirk Herald. Also thanks to Kelly Roy of Claymores Cheerleaders making the presentation of the SportScotland Grant.

SPORTSCOTLAND GRANT - The Broncos have been successful in their application for a grant from SportScotland for £906.
This money will allow the club to complete full First Aid training for all coaches, ensure that we have sufficient first aid equipment, and buy a complete set of strips for all 3 squads at the club.
Club Treasurer Charlie Ewing said "It's like Christmas come early. It would have taken a long time for us to raise enough money to get a full set of strips, but this award means that we can get them now. We have proven over the last 6 months that we are one of the best teams in Scotland, and now we'll at least be able to look the part."
Rumours of the money being used to buy Coach Ewing Valium ahead of the European Championships are completely unfounded.

SCOTLAND TRACKSUITS - A Special Thanks to a generous £300 Donation from a 3rd Party from the Dunfermline Area. The Mid Squad will now be modelling brand new Scotland Tracksuits over in Dusseldorf.

INDEPENDENCE BOWL 2002 - Anyone interested ?

FORTHBOWL 2002 - Are you free on Sunday 30th June 2002.
Player registration at 11:30am the excitement /dread will build until kick off around 12:15pm. Once again this Charity Event will be raising money for the Radio Forth Help a Child Appeal. Following on from last years success the Forthbowl Format will be 5 on 5 Flag Football. The number of teams depending on the number of players. The top two teams on the afternoon will play in the ForthBowl final for the covetted ForthBowl trophy.
Who will win the trophy this year ? Despite the random selection method for deciding teams there are already a number of players who are aiming for a Three-Pete. Yet going into this years event there is promise of an upset with last years defeated finalist Pete Laird demanding victory. Want to take part in Forthbowl 2002 ?
Forthbowl is a fun and friendly competition open to anyone over the age of 16. We play the Non-contact version of American Football called Flag Football. We have put a copy of the latest rules supplied by the NFL (yes the NFL) here. On the day, we might have to tweak a few things depending on conditions.
Every team in Forthbowl is selected by random so you don't need to turn up with a ready made team. Just bring yourself. You need no equipment other than playing clothes and we recommend some studded shoes for traction.
Everyone will have to complete one of sponsor forms before they can take part. If you intend to play, you can pre-register by e-mailing Douglas Adamson forthbowl@dougality.co.uk . We will allow registration on the day provided the form is filed out. The most important rule of all is that everyone has FUN! You don't have to be good at American Football - anyone over the age of 16 can take part (as long as they sign the declaration on the from). If you are tall/short, young/old, male/female - we don't care! So come along and take part in Edinburgh's very own Annual Charity Flag Football Match.
