SENIORS LOSE MONDAY NIGHT FOOTBALL MATCH AGAINST STEELERS - 28th July 2008
TThe Bronco Seniors travelled to Airdrie on Monday Night to take on the Lanarkshire Steelers.
A lack of available players saw the Broncos lose another valuable game.
Pride is now the only thing at stake for the remainder of the 2008 BAFL Campaign.

BRONCO YOUTHS WIN HIGHLAND BOWL I - 26th July 2008
On Saturday, the Wildcats hosted their first of two major BAFL flag tournaments this year in Inverness.
The Bronco Youths travelled to Inverness and with two victories out of two became the
first Highland Bowl Champions.
More importantly the Bronco Youths plus the Wildcats A Juniors have qualified for
the 2008 National Flag Finals Day (Doncaster) ... probably as Scottish Champions !

WILDCATS SEND OUT THE MESSAGE FOR HIGHLAND BOWL I
Plans are well underway for the Inverness Blitz to host two major BAFL flag tournaments this year.
The events will take place on Saturday 26th July and Saturday 2nd August.
The Wildcats would like to ask any teams that plan to take part to e-mail Dave Paulin
aswell as filling in the BAFL Registration Form.

BRONCO SENIORS HAVE A WEEKEND THEY WANT TO FORGET - 5th July 2008
On Saturday, the Bronco Seniors travelled away to Lanark (Racecourse) to play the Carluke Cobras.
With the Carluke outfit sitting pretty in second place in the BAFL it was crucial that the Broncos
won to stand any chance of finishing above the Cobras.
The Cobras had other ideas and from the first whistle capitalised on poor Broncos Offense to take a
quick 38-0 lead midway through the first half ... around the time when the Broncos got their first
pass completion. However, the Broncos did managed to score to make it 38-7 at the half.
In the second half there were glimpses of the old Broncos but the five players struggled to make
in-roads into such a large first half differential. The Broncos began to run the ball more
taking time off the clock and avoiding the possibility of more interceptions.
A bad day at the office ... Full-Time 52-13 Cobras.
With back-to-back defeats the Broncos are struggling to hold onto the dream of making the
first BAFL National Finals Day in Doncaster.
Only future unexpected wins against the Cobras and the Bulls will rekindle any hope of qualification ...
Go Broncos !

STORM RAISE WHITE FLAG BEFORE BRONCOS HAVE CHANCE TO COMPETE - 3rd July 2008
It is sad to hear that the Dundee Storm (Senior Flag) are withdrawing from the 2008 BAFL Season.
Continual lack of available registered players was blamed for their withdrawal.
Although it gives the Broncos two much needed extra wins it is two lost games on the field ...
we wish Bruce and the Storm a speedy return !
