FIRST SCOTLAND INTERNATIONAL CALL-UP on 7th July 2001

Jonathan was one of four Broncos players who travelled south to beat England by 44 points to 38. It was a close and tough game with England taking an early lead before Scotland rallied and came from behind to win the game. All of the Broncos played their part in helping the Scottish side to victory. Jonathan scored off of a 48 yard pass to take Scotland into the lead. This score was the one that gave the momentum back to Scotland, which they maintained till the end of the game. Not bad for the youngest player on the Scotland Squad.
