CLUB BAFL REGISTRATION FEES NOW DUE - 30th January 2010
Coach Thomson would like £10 from everyone this weekend to pay for the
Broncos Club Registration with BAFL.

NOT MORE MONEY - 30th January 2010
Coach Thomson would like to remind certain players that they still owe money for their new strips.
Jimmy will have a note of how much with him on Saturday.

ARE YOU READY TO TRY AND BUY NFL TICKETS ON MONDAY ?
NFL UK will be giving everybody who signed up to the Registry of Interest the chance to buy tickets
to the 2010 Pepsi Max NFL International Series game (49ers vs Broncos) on Sunday 31st October.
All members of the Registry of Interest will have a four-day exclusive window of opportunity.
Tickets available from Monday 1st February @ 10am before the general public gets their chance
to buy any remaining tickets (Friday 5th February @ 10am).
In order to get the chance to buy up to eight tickets, you must go to Ticketmaster’s NFL sales page
and use your unique Ticketing PIN Code.
Club Wembley tickets are already on sale (28th January).

BACK TO THE GRIND (WEATHER PERMITTING) - 23rd January 2010
The Season starts all over again with every Squad back to practice on Saturday.
The Broncos are always on the look-out for new players ... novice or experienced ... everybody welcome !
The Venue ... Inchyra Park, Grangemouth.
The Time ... 10am until 12:30pm.

CALLING ALL ATHLETES ... REFUSE EXTRA CHRISTMAS PUDDING
Monday Night Flag in Airdrie starts back on 11th January.
Coach Thomson is looking forward to seeing all his Senior players back at training
on 23rd January and everyone at the Broncos Flag Jam on Saturday 16th January.
Jimmy hopes you all had a Very Happy Christmas and a Joyful New Year !

JACK FROST DECIDED BRONCOS FLAG JAM IN JANUARY - 16th January 2010
The Broncos Flag Jam was due to be held on Saturday.
Due to poor weather the Fun Event will be re-scheduled for February or March.
The Flag Jam is an open invitation to come and play Flag Football for a day.
There is no entry fee, no medals, no T-Shirts, just bragging rights until next year.
54 players turned up at the last event (6 teams) with everyone playing five games of Flag Football.
If you are planning to attend please let Coach Thomson know, so that he has an idea of numbers.
Please send Coach Thomson an email so that he has your contact details in case of any
last minute changes (e.g. due to adverse weather conditions).

FIRST TRAINING SESSION OF SEASON CANCELLED - 9th January 2010
Training has been cancelled due to adverse weather conditions.
The grass is unplayable.
Coach Thomson hopes to see everybody next week at the Broncos Flag Jam
if the weather decides to give us a break.
Keep an eye on website, Twitter and the usual emails from Coach Thomson.

NFL UK are excited to announce the launch of the 2010 NFL International Series Registry of Interest.
As the NFL moves closer towards confirming details of the International Series in 2010,

Although the competing teams, dates and venue for next year are yet to be confirmed,

WHAT'S GOING ON OVER THE LONG COLD WINTER MONTHS ?
The Cobras have agreed to play us on the 14th November.
Venue to be confirmed nearer the date ... at worst we will play the Cobras at Inchyra Park.
The Glasgow Hornets may also turn up ?
Airdrie is the place to be for Monday Night Football (ask Coach Thomson for more information).
There are a few people that get together at the Meadows in Edinburgh for games of Flag on Sundays.
Coach Thomson is going to see if he can arrange a date to play them.
The Edinburgh players may be able to come out to Grangemouth on a Saturday and
if we can raise enough people for a Sunday game, we will visit them. (Dates to be confirmed).
Still other teams Coach Thomson wants to get games in against.
The Broncos hope to run another New Year Event (9th Jan or 16th Jan).
Basically, Coach Thomson sends an open invitation to everyone to turn up and play.
Names go into a hat and teams are made up on the day.
There was 50-odd people last year ... hopefully more this year ?
The Broncos are entered into the Cobra's tournament at Hamilton on Superbowl Weekend
and if the Bulls decide to run a tournament again in 2010 we will also be entering that.

Before Super Bowl comes around there is still the matter of who will win the Pro Bowl.
This Sunday Sky Sports 2 will catch all the action live from Miami, Florida.

THE WORLD AWAITS SUPERBOWL XLIV
The names of the two teams that will fight it out in Super Bowl XLIV are finally known.
The New Orleans Saints will take on the Indianapolis Colts at Sun Life Stadium
in South Florida on Sunday 7th February.

BBC TO SHOW NFL PLAY-OFF HIGHLIGHTS
The road to the Super Bowl will run through BBC TV on Monday nights throughout January
with BBC TWO airing a one-hour highlights show during every week of the playoffs.
Climaxing with before BBC ONE airs Super Bowl XLIV live from Dolphin Stadium in Miami,
South Florida, on Sunday 7th February.
BBC Radio 5Live Sports Extra will continue its weekly live commentaries throughout the play-offs.

2010 NFL PRO BOWL NFC AND AFC ROSTERS ANNOUNCED
The Minnesota Vikings have sent an NFC high eight players to the Pro Bowl and the
Indianapolis Colts an AFC best six as the NFL unveiled the 2009 season Pro Bowl rosters.
The Broncos have five mentions ... Champ Bailey (CB), Ryan Clady (T),
Brian Dawkins (SS), Elvis Dumervil (OL) and Brandon Marshall (WR).
The 2010 Pro Bowl will be played on Sunday, 31st January 2010 at Dolphin Stadium
in South Florida (not Hawaii), one week before Super Bowl XLIV takes place on the same field.
Broadcast live on Sky Sports from 1am, the Pro Bowl will for the first time be held PRIOR
to the Super Bowl and serve as the signature kick-off event of Super Bowl week.
