SFFA AGM DATE SET - 27th January 2007
All Clubs / Teams should attend.
The AGM will be held on Saturday at the Express at Holiday Inn, Stirling from 10am until 4pm.

IMPORTANT INFORMATION REGARDING THE 2007 SFFA SEASON
All Clubs / Teams should read the Registration Procedures in the Downloads section ... Click Here.
All Clubs are required to notify the SFFA with the number of teams and in which age group they are
participating before the AGM on Saturday 27th January.
Any topics for discussion or proposals with the Association Secretary (Andrew Wallace) should be raised
between now and the 10th January 2007, allowing both the Secretary and the President to prepare the
Agenda for issue on the 13th January 2007 in keeping with the constitution.
The Meeting Agenda will be made available to all SFFA Members then.

the Irn Bru Carnival has been open every day (except Christmas Day) but it is set to finish this weekend.

BACK TO THE GRIND - 13th January 2007
The Season starts all over again with every Squad back to practice on Saturday.
The Broncos are always on the look-out for new players ... novice or experienced ... everybody welcome !

The Time ... 10am until 12:30pm.

BRONCOS READY TO CASH IN TESCO SPORTS VOUCHERS - 12th January 2007
Our Secretary, Alison Woods has helped raise a reasonable amount of
Tesco Sports for Schools & Clubs Vouchers for YOUR Club.
With the deadline for receipt of orders and ALL vouchers due this weekend ...
we await the final decision on what FREE sports equipment our players and coaches will be using in 2006.

BAFCA ... COACHES FLAG FOOTBALL LEVEL 1 COURSE - 7th January 2007
BAFCA, in conjuction with the Dundee Hurricanes/Storm hosted a
Coaches Flag Football Level 1 course for any coaches or players (over 16 yrs) on Sunday.
The Course was held at the Carnoustie Leisure Centre, in Carnoustie.
Course started at 9am and concluded around 5pm.
The cost of this course was the standard £15 per participant/coach and was be delivered by
BAFCA Flag Football Director (Mark Bramwell).
NB. Please bear in mind that there is an SFFA requirement that all coaches must hold this certificate,
in order to coach your own team in any SFFA approved league or tournament. It is also a recognised
as the standard required to coach flag football across the UK.

SENIORS PLAN TO CELEBRATE SUPER BOWL EVENT
The Carluke Cobras are looking to hold a Super Bowl tournament on Saturday, 3rd February.
All current SFFA adult teams are invited.
The Broncos have indicated that they would be interested in taking part.

As you are aware the fourth quarter payments are now due.
At the moment these outstanding sub payments have been coming in very slowly.
Only financially stable clubs can provide a wide range of merchandise to its members ...
without everyones support we cannot expand our range.
If you would like to discuss a repayment programme the Club would be very flexible
to accomodate your request.
Any cheques should be made payable to ... 'Grangemouth Broncos Flag FC'.
Please note that there is a proposed change to the way we collect funds in 2007.

BRONCOS ON PRO FOOTBALL HALL OF FAME SEMI-FINAL LISTS
Broncos RB back Terrell Davis was one of three first-year eligible players to make the list of
25 semi-finalists for the Pro Football Hall of Fame's Class of 2007 in November last year.
This list is due to be reduced to 15 modern-era candidates in mid-January and will be increased to
17 finalist nominees with the inclusion of the two recommended candidates of the
Hall of Fame's Seniors Committee ... Gene Hickerson (Browns) and Charlie Sanders (Lions).
