NO BRONCOS AT NEW SUPER BOWL FLAG CHALLENGE EVENT - 30th January 2004
The first competitive Flag games will take place on Friday to co-incide with the NFL Super Bowl weekend.
The Annual Event is now strictly for SCHOOL teams only ...
therefore the Bronco Cadets who won the old Claymores Event in 2003 ... as did the Bronco Juniors who shared the Trophy with Inverclyde ... can NOT defend or compete this year.
The first ever Claymores Super Bowl Flag Football Challenge ... will see four Glasgow Primary Schools compete at the Kelvin Hall in Glasgow for the Title.
The Winners will be presented with a trophy by Claymore Barry Stokes (Cleveland Browns).

OCEANE DRIVE ... STU TO MAKE INTERNATIONALS OUT OF SENIOR BRONCOS ?
The SFFA Scottish Development Squad is to set up a Senior Squad to play at the
Flag Oceane International Competition in Le Havre, France on the 29th / 30th May 2004.

that we can reveal that Bronco Coach ... Robbie McKenzies' successful 2003 SFFA Season has been duly honoured at the Annual Scottish Coach Convention in Stirling.

CROP-LIKE CIRCLES AT INCHYRA PARK
It has been reported that aliens landed in Grangemouth over the Festive Period.
One amazed observer said ....
the heat of their crafts' engines had burnt numerous lines into the hallowed Inchyra turf ...
almost the exact shape of an SFFA Flag Football Pitch.
Apparently there was either three spacecrafts involved ... or ... the same object had problems landing.
The irony is that the aliens failed to land exactly on the same spot as last year.
Results of an on-going investigation revealed that the Broncos have now acquired three brand new marked pitches and lost one old one.
Falkirk Council ... were unable to shed any light on the matter but felt Councillor Buchanan could be very interested.

BRONCOS OFFICIALLY APPOINT THEIR OWN CPO - 14th January 2004
Coach Jimmy Thomson has been duly appointed the Clubs' Child Protection Officer.
One of his jobs will be to ensure that all adults that assist children in any way ... have been checked and approved by Disclosure Scotland.
Coach Thomson will also be responsible for maintaining these Disclosure Records.

BRONCO COMMITTEE MEETING - 14th January 2004
An Evening of Entertainment with Maureen and Charlie was held on Wednesday @ 7:30pm.
Many things were discussed ... and taken on-board ... with a brain-storming session regarding the forthcoming Bronco FlameBowl I taking place.

SFFA AGM DATE ANNOUNCED FOR FEBRUARY
On Saturday, 7th Feb @ 10am ...
SFFA Members will meet at the Express by Holiday Inn near Forthbank Stadium for their AGM.
All Member Teams have one vote on any matters raised.
Also, anyone wishing to be nominated for positions on the SFFA Committee ...
should contact Scott Couper by Jan 28th.
Any matters to be raised at the AGM ... Members should write to Scott Couper again by Jan 28th.

Sunday sees Scottish Youth and Senior Players visit Forthbank, Stirling for the GB Try-outs.
Registration is from 12noon.
Players are reminded that the surface is astroturf and therefore if cleats are worn DO NOT use metal studs.
Head Coaches from the Youth and Senior GB Lions team will be in attendance and therefore ...
a great learning experience for any Scottish Player.
