Sadly the Cadet Tournament that was supposed to take place in
Dundee,
as part of the Independence Bowl, was cancelled.
But the desire to play was so strong in the team
that they went along and played in the UNDER 16's anyway.
A few of the Junior team came along to help out in defense,
but the Cadets performed the vast majority of the offense themselves.
Shaky in the first game the boys quickly fond their feet and as the
day progressed settled into a good rythym against teams that were
significantly taller and faster than themselves.
The last game was a close run thing with the team only losing 34-31
in the end
with all the points being scored by the Cadets.
A fine first tournament.
