Herald Report:

In a slightly tougher than expected game, the Broncos Cadet Squad won their first SFFA League match
of the season seeing off a good fight from a largely inexperienced Glasgow Hornets team.
The Broncos had a large speed advantage over their rivals and exploited this ...
with Martyn Paterson and Callum Woods both scoring in the first half.
The Broncos went into half-time with a comfortable lead thanks to some strong defense ...
particularly from Fraser Thomson and Daniel Ward.
In the second half it was more of the same with the Broncos running game working well and an
excellent game from quarterback Scott McKenzie made sure the Offense was not one-dimensional.
The Hornets proved they were an improving side however, scoring two touchdowns into a usually
stingy Broncos Defense but in the end it was a comfortable Broncos victory as the Hornets accepted
the Mercy Rule with two minutes to go with the score at 45-13.

Achievements:

Opened their 2005 SFFA League Campaign with a win.
Callum Woods scores his first SFFA League TD for the Broncos.

MVP:

Callum Woods
