BBC TO SHOWN NFL GAMES FOR NEXT TWO YEARS
BBC Sport will broadcast the Super Bowl for the next two years.
A free-to-air deal signed with the NFL also includes highlights of the Dolphins vs Giants
(Wembley - 28th October 2007) and includes other NFL London games that may be scheduled in 2008.

SUPER BOWL COMING TO LONDON ?
NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell said that a future Super Bowl champion may someday be
crowned overseas in a game witnessed predominantly by a foreign audience.
There is a great deal of interest in holding a Super Bowl in London.

RUMOURS FROM EUROPE SUGGEST AFL COMING THIS WAY ?
The AFL is apparently already planning the first exhibition games in Germany.
A competition with the NFL Europe teams could start in 2009.
European teams could then be added to the American competition.
The development of nationals will be followed closely.
The AFL management visited several World Bowls and recognise the potential of the European fan base.
The AFL is working hard on AFL Europe creating a schedule for when this project starts.

SKY SPORTS GIVES YOU EVEN MORE
September 2006 saw NFLuk and Sky sign a new four-year deal that ensures that the sport will be
on Sky until at least 2011.
The new deal guarantees that from next season more than double the number of games will
be shown on Sky, and that with the addition of a variety of NFL Network programming to
be added, there will be an incredible 11 times more NFL programming on Sky in 2007
than there is this year.

ESPN has announced it has agreed to acquire NASN, the only European channel dedicated to
North American sports, from Setanta Sport Holdings Ltd and Benchmark Capital Europe.

The all-star game could be moved outside of Hawaii, perhaps as early as 2008.

The British Universities American Football League (BUAFL) commenced its
inaugural season in October 2007.

BAFL CONFIRMS 2007 CHANGES
At the ‘end of season’ meeting at Don Valley Stadium, Sheffield on Saturday 7th October,
the BAFL board of directors confirmed to all teams present the realignments for the 2007 BAFL Season.
BAFL Premier ... Birmingham Bulls, Bristol Aztecs, Coventry Cassidy Jets, East Kilbride Pirates,
Gateshead Senators, London Blitz, London Olympians and Southern Sundevils.
BAFL 1 North ... ASAP Yorkshire Rams, Chester Romans, Doncaster Mustangs, Redditch Arrows,
Staffordshire Surge and West Coast Trojans.
BAFL 1 South ... Colchester Gladiators, Kent Exiles, MCP Ipswich Cardinals, Oxford Saints,
PA Knights and Sussex Thunder.
BAFL 2 ... will be decided once all applications and successful associates have been confirmed.
