MEMBERS AWAIT NEW DATE FOR BRONCOS AGM
In a break with tradition, the Broncos separated the end of season celebration and the AGM.
We were hoping to having the AGM soon.
If you plan to be considered for any post please email Secretary, Alison Woods.
Once a formal date has been announced the Broncos Organisation would really like a decent turnout ...
it is YOUR Club.

COUNCIL ANNUAL AWARD FORMS AVAILABLE NOW
Nomination forms are now available to send.
The Falkirk Council Annual Awards Ceremony (previously known as the 'Scroll Awards')
is usually held every March / April in Falkirk Town Hall.
Presented by Falkirk Council, Falkirk Sports Council and Falkirk Arts and Civil Council,
they are awarded to residents of the Falkirk Council area for achievements in 2008,
as well as long service to the community, sports and the arts.
With the Bronco Youths winning the Scottish Conference hopefully they will be recognised
for their worthy team achievement.
The closing date for nominations is 31st December 2008.

BRONCOS AGM POSTPONED - 13th November 2008
In a break with tradition, the Broncos are separating off the end of season celebration and the AGM.
We were hoping to having the AGM this Thursday at the Masonic Lodge in Brightons however due to
unforseen circumstances we will have to re-arrange the event.
However, this unfortunate postponement gives everyone more time to put the right people in charge of
your Club and your opportunity to put your own name forward as an Official or a Committee Member.

BRONCOS INAUGURAL AWARDS NIGHT A RAVING SUCCESS - 8th November 2008
In a break with tradition, the Broncos separated off the end of season celebration and the AGM.
On Saturday, we had the Awards Night at the Polmont Lodge in Brightons (7:30pm).
Guest Tickets were ... Adults £5 / Children £2.50 (Players - Free).
There was medals and awards for players from all squads.
The Hall of Fame Inductee was also named on the night (Alan 'LT' Taylor).
The Lodge had a bar with very reasonable prices and there was a lovely buffet to soak up the drink.
We also had a Disco and a small Raffle which raised some valuable funds for the Club.
The Broncos Organisation would like to thank all the players, partners, friends and relations who
made this event a success.

2008 BRONCOS HALL OF FAME WINNER IS ... ALAN 'LT' TAYLOR ! - 8th November 2008
On Saturday at our first Awards Night, members found out that the 2008 Hall of Fame Inductee
was former Coach, Alan 'LT' Taylor.

END OF AN ERA AT TOUCHDOWN CLAYMORES
After 12 years, TouchdownClaymores.com is about to close.
TDC plans to close the Forums down in November this year but will keep the site content running
in some form for the time being.
Anyone wishing to keep the Claymores name alive should join Facebook ( Scottish Claymores Forever).
TouchdownClaymores.com in its day was the best information site in the UK and will be sadly missed.
The Broncos Organisation would like to thank Steve Dalgleish and John Myles for giving up so much
of their time to allow Claymore and NFL fans to communicate with each other on a daily basis.

HELP CAVEY RAISE FUNDS FOR ACTION RESEARCH
Next July (2009), Broncos Paul Jeffreys plans to cycle from London to Paris to raise
funds for Action Medical Research.
It will take Paul four days to do the whole trip as he is doing the longer of the four routes.
All those who are taking part have to raise a minimum of £1,200.
