EXTRA Report - August 2010

BRONCO SENIORS CONTINUE LOSING STREAK - 30th August 2010
The Broncos travelled to Airdrie to play a home game against the Carluke Cobras.
Any hopes of Monday Night upset were quashed when the Broncos trailed by
three touchdowns at half-time.
A better performance in the second-half kept the score reasonable but
eight losses out of eight does not make interesting reading for a team
sitting firmly at the bottom of the BAFACL North Conference.

KIRKCALDY BULLS ARE WINNERS OF THE BAFACL SENIOR FLAG NORTH CONFERENCE
With 12 wins out of 12 the Bulls sit proudly at the top of the 2010 BAFACL North Flag Conference.
As confirmed winners of the North Conference they will now head to the
BAFA National Finals Weekend on the 18th / 19th September at Sixways Stadium, Worcester.

TIE BREAKER PROCEDURE FOR THE 2010 BAFA COMMUNITY LEAGUE
Although the Carluke Cobras are in the driving seat to claim the remaining place at the
2010 BAFA National Finals Day it is still possible for a few other teams to
pip them to the finishing post.
With things hotting up you can find the tie-break procedure on the BAFA website.

2010 NATIONAL BAFA FINALS DAY ANNOUNCED
BAFACL has announced the dates and venue for the National Finals Weekend.
The event will take place on the 18th and 19th September at Sixways Stadium, Worcester.

A FEW PROBABLE BRONCO FIXTURE DATES IN 2010
So far, here is what we have ...
Saturday 31st July @ Awaiting Update (away) - Raptors and possibly Oilcats ? - (Double Header ?)
Weekend of 21st / 22nd August @ Carluke or Glasgow ? (away) - Tigers and Cobras - (Double Header ?)
Still looking for a suitable Saturday for home games vs Hornets and Raptors.
