BRONCO SENIORS LOSE ON OPENING DAY - 24th April 2010
On Saturday the Bronco Seniors were unable to beat the Bulls and the Tigers at Inchyra.
The Broncos currently sit bottom of the BAFACL table but it is early days.

BRONCO SENIORS SET FOR BAFACL SEASON OPENERS - 24th April 2010
On Saturday the Bronco Seniors will be playing the Bulls and the Tigers at home.
Kick-off is scheduled for around 10am.
Broncos players should be at the park for 9:30am.
First game is Bulls @ Broncos followed by Bulls v Tigers then finally Tigers @ Broncos.
Venue will be Inchyra Park.

BRONCO SENIORS GET READY FOR START OF BAFACL SEASON - 17th April 2010
So, this Saturday is the last practice before our season starts.
Coach Thomson would like as many players as possible to attend.
If you have still not sorted out your registration then this could be your last chance to
avoid missing the 2010 season home openers next Saturday.

WHO IS GOING TO THE BULL RUN ?
Coach Thomson would like players to confirm which days they can make the Bull Run.
Can you play Saturday (8th May), Sunday (9th May) or maybe even both days ?
Please let Jimmy know asap as it is difficult enough sorting out a lot of the
admin stuff without players ignoring him when he is trying hard to sort out your 2010 fixtures.

IMPORTANT ... 2010 A NEW BEGINNING FOR AMERICAN FOOTBALL IN THE UK
Out of the ashes of the now defunct BAFL comes the new BAFA Community League (BAFACL).
For all the news, fixtures, standings etc visit their new website.

IMPORTANT ... BAFL CEASES TRADING - 1st April 2010
According to the BAFL website the British American Football League has ceased trading.

So far, here is what we have ...
Saturday 24th April @ Grangemouth (home) - vs Bulls and Tigers
Saturday 8th May @ Dunfermline - Broncos @ Bull Run - Non League games
Sunday 9th May @ Dunfermline (away) - Bulls (Bull Run) plus other non-league games
Wednesday 19th May @ Glasgow (away) - Hornets
Saturday 5th June @ Grangemouth (home) - Oilcats and possibly Cobras ? - (Double Header ?)
Saturday 31st July @ Awaiting Update (away) - Raptors and possibly Oilcats ? - (Double Header ?)
Weekend of 21st / 22nd August @ Carluke or Glasgow ? (away) - Tigers and Cobras - (Double Header ?)
Still looking for a suitable Saturday for home games vs Hornets and Raptors.

2010 SENIOR LEAGUE SCHEDULE STARTS THIS MONTH
The league schedule is out, and the games start at the beginning of April.
We need to move quickly on the Registration Forms to get started asap.

MONEY ... MONEY ... MONEY
Coach Thomson needs money (£15) for the Bull Run.
Jimmy also needs the £10 fees from those that have not already done so.

FALKIRK COUNCIL ANNUAL AWARDS COMING SOON
The Falkirk Council Annual Awards Ceremony (previously known as the 'Scroll Awards')
is usually held every March / April in Falkirk Town Hall.
Presented by Falkirk Council, Falkirk Sports Council and Falkirk Arts and Civil Council,
they are awarded to residents of the Falkirk Council area for achievements in 2009,
as well as long service to the community, sports and the arts.

THE BLIND SIDE NOW RELEASED AT UK CINEMAS
The Blind Side starring Sandra Bullock is the next cinema film with an NFL theme.
The story of Michael Oher, a homeless and traumatized boy who became an
All American football player and first round NFL draft pick with the help
of a caring woman and her family.

BRONCOS LOOKING FORWARD TO THE 2010 BULL RUN
The Kirkcaldy Bulls will once again be organising the Bull Run (8th / 10th May 2010).
The venue is Dunfermline Rugby Club, McKane Park, Limekilns Road, Dunfermline, Fife, KY12 7XA.
Teams liked to be there ... Bulls, Cobras, Hornets, Broncos, Rebels and maybe some European teams.
Entry fee at this time will be £15 per player and will cover costs of things like ...
lunches and water for 2 days, T-Shirt, facilities, bar, trophy etc.
The only stipulation is that everyone attending is affiliated through their governing body.
Further details (include dates for full payment) will be announced in due course.

2010 NFL DRAFT - 22nd / 24th April 2010
The NFL Draft moves to primetime for the first time in 2010
with the first round taking place Thursday (7:30pm ET), followed by
the second and third rounds on Friday (6pm ET).
Rounds 4-7 will be held Saturday (10am ET).

CFL ANNOUNCE GREY CUP HOLDERS 2010 SCHEDULE
The Canadian Football League have unveiled its 2010 game schedule.
The Montreal Alouettes opening their season in Saskatchewan.
The Alouettes will open the season with three-straight road games as the
final touches are put onto the brand new Percival Molson Stadium,
which is being expanded by 5,000 seats to a new total of 25,000.
Montreal will open its home schedule with a pair of games in late-July.
